Pig Breeding

We have used only the best sires in the breeding of our organic pigs, this includes traditional breeds of Saddleback and Tamworth pigs for our pork production.

The pigs are raised in open fields, are basically fully free-range enjoying the freedom of the fields and an organic lifestyle. Organic production means that we don't use intensive farming methods, the animals can wander, play and graze at will around their fields. The sows do come inside for birthing which also helps us to keep the new piglets warm, snug and safe during those early weeks.

We choose to raise traditional breed pigs because they are ideally suited to outdoor life in this country, it also allows us to 'give back' to the breeding stock and importantly, produces incredibly tasty meat.

In addition to our fabulous range of Beef and Lamb, we also have a full range of Pork Products from our Traditional Saddleback Pigs which are raised in open fields.

This enables us to provide you with tender, succulent meat to grace any table making it a 'cut above the rest', so put us to the test
