Our Range of produce
Go straight to our produce lists:
Beef, Bacon, Gammon and Ham, Chicken, Christmas Whole Birds, Lamb, Mutton, Pork, Sausages, Gluten Free, Wild Venison. Beef RangeCountry Cuts beef is reared on our certified farm at Bridge End. Traditionally reared animals must be fed on appropriate food such as home-produced grass, silage or hay, they are free from routine drugs and be effectively 'free-range'. All the animals are kept outside, except in severe weather. The pastures where the animals graze must have had no artificial fertilisers, or chemical-sprays and is full of natural and nutritious 'clover' to provide sufficient nutrients for the animals and negate the need for supplementation so often relied upon in intensive farming. Country Cuts organic beef is a healthy and safe alternative to intensively farmed meats. You can eat our beef in the knowledge that: - No routine chemicals, drugs or growth promotors have been used in the production of our organic meat, be it beef, lamb, pork, bacon, gammon, ham or mutton.
- There have been NO cases of BSE in animals from organic farms in the UK.
- At all times we put the welfare of the animal before profit.
- To claim that an animal is 'organic', we must be able to trace it's production from the individual animal right through to the point of despatch to our customer.
Pork Range As with our cattle, lamb and mutton, Country Cuts Organic pigs are free from additives, routine drugs, chemical feeds, sprays and develop natural immunity to disease and illness.
Our healthy, happy pigs are allowed to mature properly and enjoy life on the farm. They roam free within their substantial enclosures with their own 'huts' for night, or when they are just feeling lazy! They have access to natural shade, light, fresh water, open pasture and our own woodland. Whilst living truly 'free-range' they do come indoors for the birth of piglets and like nothing better than Elaine or Martin giving them a 'tummy rub' or 'ear rub'.
These friendly and intelligent animals need space to enjoy life. We rear two traditional breeds of pig, the Saddleback(with their black and white colouring) and the Tamworth (the ginger furry pigs).
Vistors to the farm love to see the piglets and are occasionally allowed to pet them (with supervision), and subject to the approval of their 'Mum'.To read more about our beef breeds follow this link, to find out more about our range of organic beef follow this link.
Don't forget our organic lamb, mutton, pork, gammon, bacon, ham and specialities.
